The Foundation Friends of the Dutch Blood Transfusion Society aims to promote the quality of blood transfusion medicine in the Netherlands. We do that by supporting the Dutch Blood Transfusion Society in achieving their goals. The Foundation was established on 17 September 2014.
The Foundation does not have the opportunity to contribute to funding of scientific research. We can, however, support coordination activities and education. As from 2022 we offer two scholarships annualy for work- or study visits abroad.
If you need information or - as a NVB-member - have suggestions or specific proposals that our Foundation could possibly make a financial contribution to, please contact the board by email.  Decisions on funding are to the discretion of the board of the Foundation.
